Thank you for purchasing your Bespoke Faja from Contour Fajas.
Please follow the step-by-step instructions below the measurement form on how to correctly take your measurements. The fit of your bespoke faja depends on these measurements being accurate.
In all the measures of contours and distances or heights, the tape measure must be completely straight. When the contours are measured, the tape measure should not be tight to the body and should be straight at the front and back. On the heights the tape measure should be straight to the floor without skirting the body. Preferably take the heights on one side of the body forward.
Please also ensure you are naked whilst taking your measurements.
Should you experience any difficulties, don't hesitate to get in touch, by emailing info@contourfajas.com

To ensure that your bespoke custom faja will fit your body perfectly it is important that your measurements are taken accurately. Please take the relevant measurements required for your garment using a tape measure and following the instructions on the diagram below. We have also included a short video to show how the measurements are taken on our models.
Diagram 1 – Contours and Heights – Legs and Body Trunk
Under bust contour
1. The under bust contour is taken around the torso just in the line under the bust.
Waist
2. The waist contour is taken around the torso at the waist location. This is typically at the navel, between the lowest rib and hip. If you are struggling to find the waist location bend your body to the side, it is at the point of the bend where you need to measure.
Middle Hip
3. Take the middle hip contour at the mid- hip, this is the middle point between waist and hip. The tape measure should sit at the lower abdomen on the front and just above the buttocks on the back.
Hip
4. The hip contour is taken around the body at the widest part of the buttocks. We recommend using a mirror and looking at your body from the side to help determine the widest part of the buttocks to measure.
Groin Contours
5 & 6. The groin contour is taken around the leg at the highest possible point next to the genital area. The tape measure should be straight and will typically sit just underneath the buttocks at the back.
Short length faja
7. The short contour is taken around the thigh at the point where you want the leg length to stop. For short fajas this is typically 1.5-3 inches down from the groin.
8. Distance from the groin to short contour. This measurement is from the groin to the point where you would like the leg length to stop.
Mid-thigh faja
9. The mid thigh contour is taken around the thigh at the point where you want the leg length to stop. For mid thigh fajas this is typically 6-8 inches down from the groin.
10. Distance from the groin to mid thigh contour. This measurement is from the groin to the point where you would like the leg length to stop.
Above the knee faja
11. The above knee contour is taken around the thigh at the point where you want the leg length to stop just above the knee. For above knee fajas this is typically 9-13 inches down from the groin.
12. Distance from the groin to above knee contour. This measurement is from the groin to the point where you would like the leg length to stop.
Under the knee faja (3/4 length)
13. The under knee contour is taken directly under the calf muscle at the point where you want the leg length to stop (3/4 leg length).
14. Distance from the groin to the under knee contour. This measurement is from the groin to the point where you would like the leg length to stop.
Full length faja (to ankle)
15. The full length contour is taken around the leg approximately one inch above the ankle.
16. Distance from the groin to full length contour. This measurement is from the groin to the point where you would like the leg length to stop.

2. Distance From The Under Bust To The Top Of The Genital Area. This is the measurement of the torso length and take from directly under the bust in the centre to the top of the genital area.
3. Contour Above The Bust. For this measurement it is important to ensure that the tape measure is straight on the front and back and that your arms are down by your side when the measurement is taken.
4. Contour At The Top Of The Arm typically where a short sleeve will stop.
5. Distance From The Shoulder To The Top Of The Buttocks Area. This is a diagonal measurement from the inner shoulder on the back to the top of the buttocks as shown on the diagram.
